Recognise the other person’s style immediately as you greet them.

D-style

Greets briefly, firmly and purposely. No beating around the bush, but clear: “Hey. Everything okay?” Gets straight to the point, often already on the way to the next thing.

I-style

Greets exuberantly, with a smile and often a story. “Hey Hello!! Great to see you!” Lots of facial expressions, touch and genuine energy in the moment.

S-style

Greet people in a friendly and warm manner, without fuss. “Hi, nice to see you.” Connects with the other person, makes them feel at ease and shows genuine interest in how they are doing.

C-style

Greet politely, modestly and respectfully. “Good afternoon.” Adapts to what is appropriate, as expected for the situation. No fuss, but clear and to the point.
