Q4 Clue 832 | Showing anger
How do you recognise the different styles when they are angry? And also important, recognise it in yourself!
D-style
This style of anger comes as an outburst. Loud, direct and explosively. Seeking confrontation, raising their voice and commanding. Note that this can be perceived as being rude or controlling.
I-style
Expresses anger mainly verbally. Lots of talking, exaggerating things or situations and sometimes crying and/or laughing. Note that this can come across as emotional or even theatrical.
S-style
The S-style reacts passively. Swallows things, withdraws. Can also become obstructive, from stubborn to rigid. Note that others cannot always understand this, that something is really wrong.
C-style
Initially reserved and distant. Indirect. But can be very critical after that. Armed with facts and examples (from the past). Note that this can be perceived as too rational and sarcastic.
