Q4 Clue 830 | Spending money
From a DISC perspective, we can look at how we spend money, when it comes to the ‘spending money process’, knowing which style to use and when is also helpful.
D-style
You use this style to make the final decision. Especially for significant expenses. Done with researching, discussing, checking, and weighing options, etc. It’s decided. Once it’s decided, that’s it and no ‘regrets’.
I-style
Spends money quickly on the ‘social side’ of things. Like a trip, a drink, a gift, etc. This may not always be a good use of money for the more ‘rationally driven styles’, but this side should not be forgotten.
S-style
If you need to be careful. When you first want or even need to understand something before you spend your money on it. Instructions, education and especially safety/security and guarantees.
C-style
If you have to research what you want or need to buy. From a new laptop to a personal development class. Gathering information, researching, comparing, etc., and making a well-informed choice.
