Q4 Clue 824 | Queuing
Whether for an attraction, concert or restaurant. We (have to) wait in line more and more often. How do different styles actually queue?
D-style
Not. Avoids any queue—even a short one. With the exception, if it’s really worth it, there is absolutely no other option, AND it’s impossible to get someone else to do it for you.
I-style
It can also be fun, especially with a group and among like-minded people. Also, this style may be prone to crowded ‘TikTok destinations’, which are very social status-enhancing.
S-style
It’s part of the deal in some cases. Think of a theme park in peak season because of the children’s holidays. You do it more for them then, too, and you don’t want to ruin the mood.
C-style
It’s okay to seek out queues in exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime cases. Otherwise, there is no need to seek out queues. There are plenty of other places to find that have yet to be discovered by the masses.
