Q4 Clue 818 | Oliebollen (aka Dutch doughnuts?)
One of the Dutch traditions with New Year’s Eve is Oliebollen. To start getting into the festive spirit already, how do the DISC styles approach these?
D-style
Will not settle for an inferior oliebol. Therefore likes to decide where it has to come from. However, has no time to get them themselves, let alone to stand in line to get them.
I-style
The olibol is unmissable for the typical New Year’s Eve party feeling, even just for ‘decoration’. A bite out of an ice-cold olibol at 2:30 in the morning is a turn-off every time. Next year again!
S-style
A typical S tradition is to fry your own, with the cosiness and customs surrounding it—the traditional baking person/crew, the pan, the table, the bowls, etc. It’s Part of the New Year’s Eve feeling!
C-style
If frying yourself is a bit too much, then get them. But from the right shop or stall. Knows where to get a good oliebol can. Ordered well in advance and the pick-up time has already been scheduled!
