Q4 Clue 772 | Self-confidence taits
DISC does not measure skills. Any style can become competent in any skill. DISC is about the HOW? A DISC style provides insight into how you naturally perform a specific task or activity.
D-style
The style of deciding and setting direction in a direct task-oriented way. Taking the lead, directing, taking quick action and decisions. This is something the D style naturally does well.
I-style
The style focused on relationships in their social environment and how to keep them ‘well’. By influencing and shaping. Therefore, verbal skills are naturally developed well.
S-style
The style that naturally executes and completes tasks. Whatever the skill. If it has been learned, however long it has taken, it is the S style that performs reliably, steadily and well.
C-style
The style that wants to know. All the knowledge, rules, regulations, laws, etc. Wants to be precise and, above all, flawless. So, skills that naturally demand this align with the C style well.
