Q4 Clue 844 | Meeting deadlines
How do DISC styles approach deadlines, and what are the potential pitfalls?
D-style
Sees the deadline as a finish line: heads straight for the goal, maintains the pace and chooses the shortest route. Will do everything to “win” – even if it may require others to move aside.
I-style
Starts full of ideas and energy, involves others and keeps things easygoing. Sometimes loses track of time but counts on a creative final sprint just before the crucial moment of truth. “It will be fine!”…
S-style
Takes the deadline seriously and doesn’t want to disappoint anyone. Works consistently and at a steady pace, sticking to the schedule. May have difficulty with unexpected twists or last-minute pressure.
C-style
Plans ahead, monitors quality and works accurately towards the end goal. Dislikes rushing – prefers careful, high-quality work over hurried work. But above all, the deadline must feel logical.
