Fortunately, the doggy bag is becoming increasingly popular. From both sides, restaurants are also communicating and promoting it better. And it is easy ‘to sell’, better than throwing it into the bin.
S-style
It’s also great—double enjoyment and you save money. But there is still a taboo to it. Isn’t it weird to ask for it? What might the other table companions think? (Whoopee, we’re getting a dog!).
C-style
Hence, this day, it becomes common to ask as well as to give by the restaurants. But it would actually be even better to address this earlier in the process, offering different portion sizes.
