Q4 Clue 795 | Tour de France
Another great sporting event that is on the road. What is always interesting to watch is the different types of riders. Which style do you see and when?
D-style
The sprinter or frontman? Of course, any style can be this. But this role does require D style. Make the whole team work for you the entire stage or tour, and then it all comes down to you, and you have to finish it.
I-style
The road captain, the free rider? The free role within the team. Oversees the race, directs, has social skills and monitors the harmony. Takes the spotlight but also the lead to keep the rest of the team out of the wind.
S-style
This is the style to adopt when taking on the role of foreman. Put yourself at the service of the team. But also the big-gear jammer of the team. Keep going at full speed. And above all, don’t whine; ride—S-style.
C-style
The breakaway rider. Or the climber, if a lightweight. Breaking off 80 km before the finish or summit and then all by yourself. Also, everything is technically tip-top, from body and mind to your gear and bike.
