The holiday period often means a change of gear. Some people are ready for it within five minutes, whilst others first need to finish things off, sort things out or get used to the idea. How do different styles switch into vacation mode?
The C-style finds it easier to relax once everything is well organised. Tickets, route, sun cream and charger? Check. Then the mind can gradually shift into holiday mode.
The D-style prefers to switch gears quickly: finish work, pack a bag and go. Holidays are lovely, as long as there’s something to do, choose or get up to.
The S-style likes to ease into vacation mode gently. Taking a moment to settle in, get used to the new rhythm and enjoy the little things. Holidays are lovely, as long as there’s no rush, just relaxing together.
The I-style gets into holiday mode by socialising, making spontaneous plans and being surrounded by nice people. A chat, a drink on a terrace or an unexpected encounter instantly makes the day better.
