How do different styles approach their holiday time?
D-style
Work/business is always ongoing. This style mixes business and private quite a lot. So, it’s usual to stop by a client, keep up with your emails, and make some phone calls.
I-style
The style in us that likes to do something completely different. Can say, clearing my mind. Able to ‘switch off completely’ during the holidays and not think about work for one second.
S-style
Of all the styles, this is the one that really needs to take some time off. Switch off that ‘doer-execute-help mode’. It doesn’t have to be six weeks, but take some time for yourself.
C-style
The brain can not be switched off. And that’s not a bad thing. Don’t overdo it, of course, but doing some thinking or preparing or planning for already after the holidays can also be very relaxing.
